Not long now until the show, so we thought we would remind you of the times for you to register and stage all your exhibits as we have changed things a bit this year.

Friday evening (31st August) from 4pm – 6pm you can come to the church and register your show exhibits early. This will save you time on Saturday morning but don’t bring your produce and craft items yet – not until show day!

Saturday (1st September) the day of the show.

  • Registration re-opens at 8am until 10.30am and this is when you can stage your exhibits. Paper plates will be provided for use in the vegetable and fruit sections, the baking section and other sections where appropriate but for other classes, remember you need to provide your own containers as described in the class.
  • From 11am – 1.30pm the judging will take place and we ask that you do not disturb the judges or the exhibits.
  • The show opens to everyone at 2.00pm for you to look at the results and have a cup of tea and slice of delicious cake.
  • At 4.00pm prizes will be presented by Sir Laurence Howard and at about 4.15pm, immediately after the prizes have been awarded, some exhibits will be auctioned or sold along with surplus cakes from the teas. Once the auction has finished you can take your exhibits away.
