We have had the following crime reported to police over the month of July: –
Burglary Barrow x 2, Market Overton, Thisleton
Burglary Other than Dwelling Whissendine, Ryhall, Hambleton
Theft Market Overton
Theft from vehicle Tickencote, Egleton x 2, Market Overton, Ashwell, A1
Damage to vehicle Whitwell x 2, Clipsham
Criminal damage Ashwell, Greetham
Arson Whissendine, Little Casterton
Assault Greetham, Langham, Great Casterton
Bilking Stretton
We have continued to patrol around the Churches of Rutland and working with David Harvey who is linked with Heritage Watch to tackle this issue.
We have also started to notice a rise in theft from motor vehicles is rural isolated locations. I have sent out a video link through @RutlandPolice twitter account and Rutland Police Facebook page asking for local residents to consider parking in other locations and utilising car parks and ensuring that no valuables are left in the vehicles. I would ask that you continue to send this message out to all residents and report any suspicious activities through to 101 or 99 depending on the incident.
We have a beat surgery this month at 12pm on 17th August at The Jackson Stops PH, Stretton.
