I am currently researching the life of Horace Charles Snary, who played cricket for Leicestershire in the 1920s/30s. Horace was born in and, as far as I know, lived in Whissendine all his life, dying there in 1966.

Much is known about his career with Leicestershire, but I would dearly like to know more about his life outside of county cricket. All I have been able to ascertain is that he became a poultry farmer, and that he fought in WW1 (his brother losing his life in the trenches).

If you could provide any additional information at all, it would be very much appreciated.

Kind regards
Jonathan Farmer
