The Whissendine Church Flower Festival will take place over August Bank Holiday weekend in 2019.
We need flower arrangers!
To find out more come to our open afternoon at the church on Saturday 30th March: Call in anytime between 2pm until 5pm
No experience necessary. Arrangements can be small or large, you can do one by yourself or with some friends. The theme this year is
On the Move: Life in Motion
which may be forms of transport, sports and pastimes, movements in nature and by people or machines. We have lots of ideas but you may think of others!
Also volunteers are needed for the weekend
The flower festival is a major village event which is put on every other year and attracts many people from outside Whissendine. Flowers are displayed at the church and refreshments are served at the village hall. We will need lots of volunteers to help.
