On the Move: Life in Motion
The flower festival is a major village event which is put on every other year and attracts many people from outside Whissendine. Beautiful themed flower arrangements are displayed at the church and delicious refreshments are served at the village hall.
Bring your family and friends:
Saturday 10am – 5pm
Sunday 12.30 – 5pm
Monday 10-am -5pm
Entrance is free but donations are welcome.
Preview evening: Friday 23rd August 7pm until 9pm. Drinks, canapes and songs from the ‘lastminutesingers’. Tickets are available in advance at £7.50 each from the village shop and members of the flower festival committee
Songs of Praise: at 5pm on Sunday 25th August at the church.
