Whissendine’s Happy Circle club met on Wednesday the 1st of April in the Village Hall. A short business meeting was held after a delicious meal of soup and dessert. Instead of a Speaker, the Club took part in a Beetle Drive with Club members put into groups. It was a hilarious afternoon, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
This month we had another two people join the Club making six new members over the last few months. More new members would be made very welcome. Please contact Ann Edmunds at 474279 for further information.
Our next meeting takes place on Wednesday the 6th of May at 1:15pm at the Village Hall. Dr. Lawrence Howard Rutland’s Lord Lieutenant will present his version of Desert Island Discs which should be very interesting.
