Jake Spruce, Dedicated Neighbourhood Officer for Rutland North writes

I have been made aware of a small group of youths committing Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) in the village.

I would like to reassure the community that we will be stepping up patrols in the village and I will be dealing with the individuals involved appropriately with their parents.

Please leave it with me to deal and report any incidents by calling 101, or via our website – Leicestershire Police
(Always call 999 in an emergency). (Please don’t use this service to report crime or incidents as it is not monitored regularly).

Local social media groups are a good tool to stay connected with the community, but please ensure they are used carefully, responsibly and appropriately. Particularly when discussing crimes/anti-social behaviour, especially as the persons involved in this instance are children. Thank you.

I also have a key to the village hall now, so I will where I can, pop in to use the hall for some remote working, or just as a place to have a quick break whilst staying out and about in the community. If when passing, you ever see the police car parked outside the village hall – it is likely for this reason, so please feel free to pop in and say hello.

Thank you. Your local beat officer,
