The following crime has been reported to the police for Rutland North beat for December 2019: –
Burglary – Cottesmore
Burglary Other than Dwelling – Greetham, Ashwell
Criminal Damage – Langham
Assault – 2 x Langham, Thisleton, 2 x Cottesmore, Exton, Ryhall, Essendine, Barnsdale
Vehicle Crime – Exton, Barnsdale, Great Casterton, Langham, Cottesmore, A1
We have noted a spike in Theft from Vehicles specifically linked to theft of number plates. The thefts have also been noted to be in villages close to the A1 corridor and would remind people to consider the anti-theft screws that are available to prevent the theft of number plates.
We would also remind everyone to check outbuildings and sheds to ensure they are locked and secure over the winter months.
