Rutland County Council will be resurfacing part of Ashwell Road ‘near the bend’, planned for 17-20 February 2016.
Due to this essential maintenance work on Ashwell Road there will be no through bus service between Whissendine and Ashwell from Wednesday 17th to Friday 19th February.
As a result the Service 19 bus will be re-routed during this period operating as normal to the Village Green Bus Stop in Whissendine but will then turn around and operate direct to Langham/Melton.
Those passengers normally using the Ashwell Road/Church bus stop area in Whissendine can either board/disembark at the village green pr at the stops on Oakham Road.
Rutland County Council will provide a free minibus for those passengers travelling between Ashwell and Oakham to meet up with other bus services. The timetable for the free minibus service can be found here.
