We are going to hold the first annual Whissendine Produce & Craft Show next year in St Andrews church. There will be something for everyone, from beginners to the more experienced, with a mixture of fun classes and the more traditional.
So start planning and planting now, get the seeds ready, check out your secret family recipes, dust off those embroidery frames to make sure you are ready for the big day.
The Sections you can enter will be as follows:
- Vegetables
- Fruit
- Cut Flowers
- Crafts
- Photographs
- Baking
- Preserves & chutney
- Floral Arranging
- Children’s sections (May be 2 for different ages)
- Art
Details of the classes in each section, and the rules for the show will be published early in the New Year.
We are also looking for sponsors of cups for the most points scored in each section, either from individuals or local companies, prospective sponsors would provide a cup of their choice suitably engraved and approved by the show committee.
