Ward Councillor Update August 2026

 The government has announced that Rutland will be joining Leicestershire to create a one new unitary authority in 2028, alongside as an expanded city council.  This is not the outcome that we wanted in Rutland having supported the proposal to combine Rutland with North Leicestershire districts, but it is a government decision which will now be put into practice. Residents can be assured that services will continue to be provided by Rutland Council Council for the next 2 years and I will continue to represent your interests as your ward member on the council during this period as I have done for the last 7 years.
