Whissendine to Teigh

An easy two-and-a-half mile walk from St Andrew's Church to the church in Teigh — great for families and dogs, and around an hour each way. Head left out of the church onto Station Road, pass the allotments, and take the track on the right. Follow it downhill to the railway crossing, then continue along the Rutland Round footpath through the fields into Teigh. There's no pub in Teigh, so plan accordingly.

Whissendine to Langham

A circular eight-mile walk out along Loodle Lane — an ancient track — then field paths into Langham and back. There's the option to stop at Ashwell Garden Centre Tea Room roughly halfway round.
