Key Events
Whissendine's annual events are a big part of what makes the village tick. From summer road races to flower festivals and produce shows, there's something bringing the community together throughout the year.
Whissendine Feast Week
Feast Week is the highlight of the Whissendine calendar — an ancient celebration with origins in the Middle Ages that has been running in its modern form for over 30 years. Taking place each year in early July, it fills the village with events for all ages across a full week.

Money raised over the years has supported the children's play area, Village Hall, St Andrew's Church, Cubs, Brownies, Scouts, Senior Citizens' Christmas Hampers, the Holiday Club and school trips.

Whissendine 6ix — Road Race & Walk
An annual six-mile road race and walk held on the Friday evening of Feast Week. The route follows a circuit bordering Stapleford Park, starting and finishing at the village green. Sponsored by the Grainstore Brewery.

Craft & Produce Show
Held annually at St Andrew's Church in late August. Sections include vegetables and fruit, flowers, baking, preserves, craft, art, flower arrangements, photography and junior categories. All entries are anonymously judged by outside judges, with trophies awarded across categories.

Whissendine Flower Festival
A weekend of flower arrangements throughout St Andrew's Church held biennially See events calendar for next date. Homemade cakes served in the Village Hall.
