We are proud to announce that our weekly curry service has received a 5-star hygiene rating from Rutland County Council (Food Standards Agency – Hygiene Regulation and Legislation).
All the meat for our curry is fresh and selected by staff from a supermarket. When we make curry on Thursday the meat still usually has 2 to 3 days used-by date. Also, all the vegetables we use are fresh and are unusual kinds, which are not available from major supermarkets.
After preparing the food, it is stored in polystyrene insulation boxes until customer collection from the shop.
Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions or special considerations, and we will do our best to accommodate you. It is the customer’s responsibility to let Whissendine shop staff know if they have any food allergies or restrictions when they order.
