If music be the food of love and flowers speak the language of love what better theme could there be for our church flower festival than ‘MUSIC’?

In a riot of colour, flower arrangements will depict music in many of its forms including church music, classical, jazz, music from the shows, pop and rock’n’roll.

The format for the weekend will be, as usual, Preview Evening, Friday 28th. Tickets £7.00 (to include a glass of wine and canapes) will be available from Ram, at the Mace shop in Whissendine (very many thanks, Ram).

The church will be open, each day, from 10:30 throughout the weekend and bank holiday Monday. Admission free, with stewards on hand to answer questions.

Refreshments will be available, each day, at the Village Hall.

In addition, ‘Cottage Teas’, the usual pre-festival fund-raising event will be held at ‘Lantern Cottage’, 77 Main Street, on 20th June between 2:30 and 4:30pm.
