The annual Feast Week Village Party was held at the White Lion on 4th July 2015 with live music from the Supernovas – a great 3 piece that kept everyone on the dance floor.
The Hog Roast and puddings were supplied by Chris & Yolanda and the Feast Week committee would like to thank Chris, Yolanda and all the staff at the White Lion for doing a great job. The food was delicious.
The Party also played host to the awards ceremony of the winners of the Whissendine Photographic competition.
The traditional Feast Week Village Party Raffle featured a wide range of prizes – from Golf at Stapleford Park, Regal Cinema tickets, Greyhound Racing tickets, Dickenson & Morris hamper, Everards Beer and many more. Many thanks to all those that bought raffle tickets throughout Feast Week and congratulations to those that won.
The Heads n’ Tails game – a Feast Week favourite, where you guess which side a coin will land was enjoyed by all. The winner walked away with a flat screen TV – all for the price of £1!!
All in all, the evening was a great success with glorious weather, good food, good music and good company.
