This month the Rutland Community Speed Watch scheme has been launched and this year 5 villages have been selected of which three villages are on Rutland North including Ryhall, Greetham and Stretton.  Ryhall have agreed to work with their neighbouring village Essendine which allows further checks to be completed.   I have been working for some time as part of the current Problem Management Plan set by our consultation with local residents over concerns of speeding and will be working with these villages when they are participating in the scheme to offer further support.

We are also re-launching Neighbourhood Link to allow local residents to sign up and receive updates from the police in relation to issues they are interested in.  I would ask any resident to look at the website and sign up.

PCSO Di Freeman will be holding a beat surgery between 10am – 11am on 26th March at The Lodge, Market Overton if any local residents would lke to speak to Di about any issues or concerns please come down and join her.

If you have any issues or concerns and would like to contact me directly please email me laurie.appleton@leicestershire.pnn.police.uk

Many thanks
