This month was have had 2 Land Rover Defender 110 stolen from Rutland North beat.  These crimes are being investigated and we are working with other Police  Forces as this is a National issue for this vehicle type.  We would encourage anyone that owns a Land Rover 110 to take additional measures to secure their vehicles and if you wish to discuss anything with me directly please feel free to use the email below.

We have also noted that 2 of the theft from vehicles were theft of Number Plates.  Di Freeman our Police Community Support Officer has anti-tamper screws that can replace the screws on your number plates and if you are interested in discussing this further with her please contact her through her email.

We continue to sign up our local residents to Neighbourhood Link which allows anyone to receive email alerts from the police about emerging issues and would encourage as many people as possible to do this.  If you are interested please email me with your full name, House number/Name, Post Code and email address and I can sign you up.  This is also an opportunity to have to say and provide me with any concerns/issues and I can complete a survey with these concerns.  This is how we have identified our current 3 Beat Priorities; Speeding, Rural Crime and Fraud which we continue to work towards including working with RCC Community Speed watch which Stretton is launching in July.
