The following crime has be reported to the police for Rutland North beat for May 2019: –

Burglary Dwelling      –              Essendine
Theft                             –              Ashwell
Theft of Vehicle          –              Cottesmore
Theft from Vehicle     –              A1 x 2, Whissedine, Market Overton, Great Casterton
Bilking                          –              Tickencote
Criminal Damage       –              Langham
Drugs                            –              Hambleton, Langham

The Theft from Vehicles has dropped dramatically and this is due to some great work using intelligence from local farmers to identify where the suspects were committing the offences we have targeted this location and have recovered stolen fuel and since this date on 10th May we have had no further reports of Theft from vehicles on the A1.

We are looking to open a new Problem Management Profile (PMP) which has been identified through public consultation of Speeding.  This will be for all villages and we will be using our Social Media accounts on Facebook ‘Rutland Police’ and out Twitter account ‘@RutlandPolice’ to ask for ideas of where local residents want us to be.

If you would like to discuss any issues or concerns please feel free to call me on 101 or email laurie.appleton@leicestershire.pnn.police.uk many thanks
