FLOWER FESTIVAL 2015 IN AID OF ST. ANDREW’S CHURCH
An open meeting has been arranged for Monday, 16th March, at 7:30 pm, in the Lady Chapel to discuss this year’s Flower Festival which will, as usual, take place over the August Bank Holiday weekend. The format will be as in previous years – Preview Evening on Friday, 28th August and the Church open to visitors throughout Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
If you would like to be involved in this popular and enjoyable event do please come along to the meeting – you don’t have to be a flower arranger, there are lots of other ways in which you can help!
We hope to make this year’s Festival extra special to honour the memory of Dot Dickinson and Audrey Riley, two long-standing mainstays of Flower Festival, both of whom sadly died last year and are greatly missed.
Funds raised will go towards the approx. £50,000 annual running costs of St. Andrews Church ( for more detail please see annual report or call the Treasurer, Alec Peel, on 474424).
