Those of you who shop at Waitrose will be familiar with the green token scheme. At the end of your shop in at your local branch, you’ll receive a token to place in a box of the good cause you’d most like to support. The more tokens a cause gets, the bigger the donation they receive. Each month every Waitrose branch donates £1,000 (£500 in Convenience shops) between 3 local good causes.
We are happy to tell you that our charity has been chosen to feature this June at Stamford. Those of you who shop at Waitrose in Stamford (and perhaps some that don’t at present) do please shop there during June and put your token in the WGNS box. The more visits to the shop, the more green tokens in our box!
