This year will be the 35th year that the Whissendine 6ix has been run. It’s a great spectacle and is one of the mainstays of Feast Week, usually attracting 300 runners.
This year the event will on 8th July at 7.30pm and anybody over the age of 15 on race night is welcome, but must be pre-entered. No on-the-night entries will be accepted.
This year we have an additional trophy, the “Chris Arnold memorial trophy”, kindly donated to celebrate the contribution Chris Arnold made to Whissendine village over the years, and who unfortunately passed away recently. The trophy will be awarded to the youngest whissendine village competitior, to encourage young people to join in active sports.
