August Bank Holiday Weekend
“MUSIC WE LOVE”
Whissendine Flower festival will be held over August Bank Holiday weekend when the theme will be “Music We Love”.
Displayed in the church, in a riot of colour, flower arrangements will depict music in many of its forms from Church music and classical through to traditional and popular.
The format for the weekend will be – Preview Evening on Friday 28th. 7.30pm – tickets £7.00 (to include a glass of wine and canapes) from the Mace shop in Whissendine.
From Saturday to Bank Holiday Monday, the church will be open each day 10 a.m. to dusk. Admission FREE. Stewards will be on hand to answer questions.
Refreshments will be available throughout the weekend at the Village Hall.
