Whissendine Open Gardens

Whissendine is opening its gardens to the public on Sunday 2nd July, there are over a dozen gardens open and preparations to make sure they are in perfect condition would rival Chelsea! Linda Arnold who has organised the event and is pictured above said ‘I am really looking forward to this year’s event, we have lots of new gardens open and there will also be garage sales going on throughout the village as well as craft stalls and children’s games on the village green, which makes it a perfect day out for all the family.’

This successful event is taking place again as part of the village annual Feast Week celebrations. With over 12 beautiful gardens open to the public, garage sales, crafts and games on the village green, there is something for everyone.

Gardens will be open from 10am until 4pm, refreshments will be served all day in the village hall .

Tickets will be available on the day from the village green and cost £5 for adults with accompanied children free.  A real family day out in our lovely Rutland village.
